Well done Stoner

Postby bikergifts on Mon Oct 15, 2007 7:04 am

It was good to see someone with pure talent get back to the top of the ladder in MotoGP. Well done Casey!! I wonder if Valentino Rossi has seen his day with so many good riders? Occasionally someone takes the championship down to the pure bad luck of the other riders and I think that happened last year with Hayden. OK he's a good rider, but I don't think we will see his name at the top of the list again. My bet for next year is a 1st Stoner - 2nd Capirossi - 3rd Perdrosa - 4th Rossi ....Watch this space!!

I'm curious to see how Melandri will do on the Duc if they give him the same equipment as Stoner. He's a hell of a rider just on a crap support bike this year.

Melandri and Hopkins

Postby bikergifts on Mon Oct 15, 2007 9:31 pm

Yes, I think you're probably right and Hopkins is a pretty good rider as well. That just leaves Vermeulen, as there's no other contenters unless thay all fall off and Hayden wins again!! Don't let us forget the tyres as well, it's not just about having a good bike if it's not stuck to the track properly.

Pretty sad to hear about Norick Abe's fatal accident.

Yeah, that sucked. I know you can die on the track too but it's much more prone to happen on the road. Hopkins has been impressive this year. I knew he could ride but it's obvious Suzuki didn't give him a decent bike to ride on. Funny how the bike drastically improves with Rizla sponsorship money.
