Hmmm, hard to list just 10 but 15 names are, in no particular order: Steve Hislop, Joey Dunlop, Geoff Duke, Carl Fogarty, Wayne Rainey, Barry Sheene, Phil Read, Luigi Taveri, Michael Doohan, Eddie Lawson, John McGuinness, Mike "the bike" Hailwood, John Surtees, Valentino Rossi, and obviously Giacomo Agostini!!!
There have always been riders who excell in certain areas, road or track and champions who dominate when competition is weak, usually because of superior machinery (sorry Neil 100), Hailwood was fast whatever he did and I think Rossi is of the same ilk.
really good to see Biaggi doing what he's doing and Nori is fast whatever he rides. DJ was great and had a real future in road racing, proved his metal many times on the Island, and had character. Guy Martin scares me, very quick, very young, hillarious to listen too, says what he thinks regardless.
